Ankita Wal, Professor and Head, the Department of Pharmacy, Pranveer Singh Institute of Technology, Kanpur, has an excellent track record in academics (Qualified GATE, 2007). She is involved in teaching Inorganic Pharmaceutical Chemistry to pharmacy students. She has worked in CDRI, Lucknow as part of her project. She has published a large number of research papers in indexed journals.

He has completed his Ph.D. under the guidance of Dr. Awani K Rai. Mr. Wal has published a large number of original research papers in indexed journals. He has presented his research work in International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP-08) in Basel, Switzerland (Funded by PSIT and CSIR). He has received several grants from the Government bodies (ICMR, DST, CSIR etc.) and is also associated with many professional bodies like, FIP, APTI, ACPI, and others. He is also working as managing editor for IJSPR and reviewer for JPSR, IJPSB and AJPP.

Dr. Awani K Rai, Director, the Institute of Pharmacy, Pranveer Singh Institute of Technology, Kanpur, did his M.Pharm. from Dr. H.S.G. Vishwavidyalaya, Sagar (M.P.) in 1993. He has obtained Ph.D. degree in Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics) under the supervision of Prof. Ramesh Chandra (Ex-Vice Chancellor, Bundelkhand University, Jhansi). He has eight years of industry and ten years of teaching experience and has also published several research papers in various journals of national and international repute. He is life member of APTI and Indian Pharmaceutical Association.
