The yearning of the heart of every child of God is to actively experience God… Christianity is all about knowing and experiencing God and getting to touch Him and having Him touch you; it is to understand Him more and to walk with Him.

Several people have experienced God like that before. It is not something abstract or impossible. People who are flesh and blood like us have walked with God before. They walked in His presence daily and translated that into an intrinsic experience that affected their generation.
