Dr. Xavier Chelladurai, a distinguished Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the School of Engineering and Technology in CHRIST University, Bangalore, India, boasts an extensive career spanning over two decades within prominent international IT enterprises including Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, and HCL Technologies Ltd. His profound expertise encompasses education and research roles in esteemed institutions such as CHRIST University, Bangalore and St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Tirunelveli.

During his tenure as the Global Vice President and Head of Artificial Intelligence at Capgemini for over three years, he significantly contributed to the advancement of AI initiatives. Additionally, his leadership as the IT Service Delivery Head in London and Europe for leading IT firms has been instrumental in shaping operational excellence.

Dr. Chelladurai’s commitment to education and the proliferation of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence knowledge is evident through the creation of over 500 educational videos, aimed at making these complex subjects accessible to students at large.

His scholarly pursuits and research interests predominantly revolve around Artificial Intelligence Technologies and Parallel Computer Algorithms. Notably, he holds authorship of more than 20 technical books in Computer Science, has published over 10 research papers, and has successfully mentored and guided seven Ph.D. scholars to completion.

Recognized for his contributions, Dr. Chelladurai holds the esteemed status of a Senior Member of IEEE and has been a Senior Life Member of the Computer Society of India. His dedication to academia, research, and the advancement of technology continues to leave a lasting impact within the field.

Dr. Xavier Chelladurai’s influence extends beyond academia and industry into governmental spheres. He served as a pivotal member of the Information Technology Task Force of the Government of Tamil Nadu for three years. This task force played a crucial role in advising and supporting the Chief Minister in formulating and implementing IT policies that were integral to the state’s technological advancement and growth. Dr. Chelladurai’s contributions to this body underscore his commitment to shaping not only academic and industrial landscapes but also governmental initiatives aimed at leveraging technology for societal progress.

Dr. Jyothi Mandala, an accomplished academician with 18 years of experience, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Kengeri Campus, Bangalore. She earned her Ph.D. from Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, an M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from JNTU-Kakinada, and a B.Tech in Information Technology from JNTU-Hyderabad.

A dedicated educator and researcher, Dr. Mandala has numerous publications in reputed journals and has successfully guided undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. students. Her research interests lie in Information Security, Data Privacy, Cybersecurity, and Data Mining. Complementing her academic achievements, she also holds patents and copyrights.

Dr. Mandala’s commitment to excellence in teaching and innovation has been recognized with several prestigious awards, including the “Best Faculty Award” for her contributions to Computer Graphics at GMR Institute of Technology and the “Innovative Teaching Award” at CHRIST University, presented by the Vice-Chancellor.
