In this book the author attempts to encapusulate for the reader, themajor elements of chief obafemi awolowo’s ideas for which he coined the “AWOISM”.

According to him, Awoism is a political doctrine but above all, it is a total conception of life;

Socialism and mental magnitude are the two main pillars upon which rests Awolowo’s universe of ideas and actions. Both are only two sides of the coin.

The author shows how the twin concepts of socialism and mental magnitude directed every step taken by awolowo in the struggle for, and the winning of, independence for Nigeria.
