There is a difference between knowledge and application of knowledge. Most times, students are taught the theory of a course but they find it difficult to relate the theoretical knowledge to modern day reality and practice. Questions that do appear for purposes of examination are rarely direct. Most especially in the field of law, some questions are scenario based so that the student who has studied indepthly and understands can relate the issues with the case at hand. This is the requirement of practice of law even when a person has been qualified in the legal profession.
