Donald Maxwell-Timmins had extensive experience of music teaching in both primary and secondary schools,to the Halifax Education, Before becoming music adviser to the Halifax authority in 1962. 1n 1973 he in west yorkshire,before leaving in 1984 to concentrate on writing,examining,adjucating and lecturing.

His publication include the class music series. Music is fun and makes music fun .
