Political Science is a fundamental study of the basic concepts. It discusses political science as a discipline and proceeds to state mechanism and institutional studies. Political science focuses on the theory and practice of government and politics at the local, state, national, and international levels. We are dedicated to developing understandings of institutions, practices, and relations that constitute public life and modes of inquiry that promote citizenship. Political science is the study of politics and power from domestic, international, and comparative perspectives. It entails understanding political ideas, ideologies, institutions, policies, processes, and behavior, as well as groups, classes, government,diplomacy,law, strategy, and war. A background in political science is valuable for citizenship and political action, as well as for future careers in government, law, business, media, or public service. We provide students an opportunity to learn about politics from various perspectives.Classes are offered in the four major sub fields: American Politics, Comparative Politics, International Relations, and Political Theory. Many courses cut across sub fields.While some students choose the majority of courses from within one or two sub fields, most take a wide variety of courses that span different areas. The book is of utmost importance to students, teachers, scholars and general readers.

.Dr. Arimardan Singh has done his Ph.D. in Education, M.Ed., B.Ed, M.A. (Pol. Sc.) from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Awadh University, Faizabad and B.Sc. from Purvanchal University, Jaunpur. During his research work he has written various research paper and articles, which he published in different national and international journals. He participated in seminar and present his papers as well. He also host seminars successfully as co-ordinator and secretary. Now, he has working as head of the dept. from last 6 years in Rajat Women’s College of Education and Management which is affiliated to Lucknow University.
